Madam, Sir, Our son, Pierre, has been student at KNU (Daegu) for 4 months from end of August. We (my wife and I, and our two other sons) joined him in Korea on 24 Dec. for a 13 day stay and decided to be in Busan on 30 and 31 Dec. We booked 2 rooms at Encore Ramada at Busan Station and we naturally had other expenses in terms of food, visits, spa and transports. On Saturday we went for the drone show at 7.00pm: it was cancelled, idem for the one at 9.00pm. On Sunday, we would like absolutely to see the show for the end of the year!!! Nothing at midnight!!! Very strange. No announcement… whereas thousands of people were on the beach like us. Finally, as you know it was cancelled at 00.30am!!! It’s a real shame. We were totally frustrated not to have the show and to benefit from a so poor 31st Dec. night, whereas we also spent lots of money to be there from France!!! I clearly intend to benefit from a compensation, reimbursement. Korean governement tries to encourage the international tourism, but it’s clear that such issues as the one we experienced on Sunday night are not good signals, especially if no pecuniar solution is found.
